How to remember more cards
Rows, names and neighbours.
Look at the whole board first, then read it row by row, left to right. A fixed order makes it easier to recall where each card was.
Name the pictures
"Planet, alien, rocket" sticks better than colours alone. Once twins appear, add the colour too: "blue planet", "pink planet".
Remember neighbours
Two matching cards side by side or in one column are easy to hold as one. Start with them.
A mistake is a clue
A wrong card still shows you what sits in that spot. Remember it and the pair will turn up in a move or two.
